As a medium-sized district town located between Cologne and Düsseldorf, Monheim am Rhein has an impressive collection of artworks in public spaces. International artists have realized projects here ranging from classical sculpture to light and sound art to an artificial geyser. This allows visitors to experience a wide range of what art in public spaces can be today. The main works, created between 2018 and 2024, are now presented in a catalog of the collection. With works by Tony Cragg, Angela de Weijer, inges idee, Jeppe Hein, Saman Hidayat, Thomas Kesseler, Mischa Kuball, Markus Lüpertz, Thomas Stricker, Timm Ulrichs, and Robert Wilson.
