"In 2025, the Saxon industrial city of Chemnitz will be the European Capital of Culture. This is the occasion for a special cooperation between Düsseldorf and Chemnitz, which have been twinned for 37 years.

From May 7 to June 30, the installation nine eight planets, one star, one world by Düsseldorf artist Mischa Kuball can be experienced in the “Stadtwirtschaft”. With our guest performance in Chemnitz, we would like to encourage people to explore this new space and feel the freedom to contribute their own dreams in the face of the universe created by Mischa Kuball. In the arts, we can develop visions of shared futures. It was important to us to create an art experience for all Chemnitz residents and all international visitors to the Capital of Culture by choosing this location and offering free admission."
